Start your day by walking 150 yards to the free ski shuttle which takes you to the heart of downtown Breckenridge. Downtown Breckenridge boasts a plethora of dining options, from Mexican food, pizzerias, Irish pubs, bakeries, to a tap house and coffee shops. There you can also find several convenience stores and ski shops, in case you feel the need to gear up before heading to the mountain. The Breckenridge Ski Resort is only three and a half miles away and winters here are pretty much hard to beat. Its world-class groomed terrain is perfect for skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and more. Please note this unit does not have AC If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Ski shuttle details: SHUTTLE TO TOWN & SKI: The nearest Breck Free Ride shuttle is the “Purple Route”. This will take you to town, the gondola (Peak 7 & 8), and Beaver Run (Peak 9). To get there: The street that runs behind the house is called Reiling Road; walk toward Reiling Road and turn right on the walking path just before the roadway. Walk about 100 yards to the “Vista Point” stop. This is the same stop when taking the bus back home too. Please note that both the “Purple A” & “Purple Route” run the same path. Either one will work for going to ski/town or coming home. Generally speaking, the bus comes every 30 minutes in the winter and every hour in the summer. The shuttle drivers are very knowledgeable of the area and will gladly help with routes and stops as well. Be sure to thank them! We strongly recommend that you download the “My Free Ride” app on your phone while you’re in Breckenridge. That app will show you all the shuttle stops near you, where each shuttle route goes, how many minutes the next bus is from your stop, where every bus is right now, and more. It really is great. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Nice walking trails and nearby dog park. Take the purple bus line into town. Very short walk to Vista Point stop. Or if you’re a walker, it’s an easy 20-30 minute walk to town. Space was comfortable for 9 adults — ages 23-60\. The hot tub was nice after a day of skiing. It is in the yard so you do have to be careful of the icy porch steps and snow when getting to it. There were enough bathrooms so that not more than 2 people had to share each one. Laundry facilities were nice too. The location is uphill on the opposite side of town from the slopes. We only had one car and were able to park it in the garage. Note that the two sitting areas are on either side of the open kitchen making one largish space. There is also a sitting area downstairs. The roomy foyer is well laid out for dropping boots, helmets, coats, etc. at the end of each day. We had no issues with the management company. They were very responsive though-out the rental process and during our stay. Close to a bus stop and also quick drive to downtown. It is walkable, about 20-30 to center of Breck. It’s spacious, clean, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a free shuttle nearby that takes you downtown. But the lack of air conditioning made our stay uncomfortable—indoor temps hit 91F, and ceiling fans weren’t enough. The master bedroom was especially hot, with missing blinds and full sun by 4 a.m. Only the basement stayed cool.Appliances were unreliable: the fridge/freezer barely worked, and the oven/stove struggled to heat. The internet was poor, with limited access and incorrect setup instructions. The hot tub was nice, but pitch black at night due to no outdoor lighting. After numerous requests to property management online and via a phone call, nothing was fixed. Coffee maker didn’t have a carafe either. Was told by manager both would be fixed on Friday. They were not and received no responses after calling/chatting again. Reported to Vacasa , first told someone would come out to fix in 30 min. Then received a text telling us to find the breaker box and fix ourselves. No info provided about which breaker or where to locate the box. This was not a breaker issue once we found and tried to resolve.No WiFi. Vacasa site instructions state to call WiFi provider for issues. Providers require account info which was not provided - should state no WiFi No carafes for coffee pots, this was a complaint back in December 2024 along with the wi-fi. Vacasa responded on their site stating this was due to snow storm. Our stay was in July 2025, great weather and still no coffee pot or wi-fi. No issues there. Plenty of bedrooms, and bedding. We found it to be very clean, and the layout was good for our needs. We had been very much looking forward to using the hot tub, but when we arrived it was flashing an error code. From the brown ring around the waterline, it appeared that had been the case for some time. We contacted the management company four different times, but never got a call or a text back, and when we left, the hot tub was in the same condition. If we’d known before we got there I might feel differently about it, but there was just no one who cared enough to communicate with us either before or during our trip. ##### Randi H. Five bedrooms each with its own bath separated in such a way to afford privacy to all. Many individual sitting areas for together time or alone time. I was very pleased with the layout of this home. It was perfect for our group of nine to enjoy two weeks in Breckenridge. There is plenty of space to spread out and plenty of spaces to be together. The location was very convenient for bicycling on the rec path. It was close enough for a 20 minute walk to downtown. It was also close to a shuttle stop. I would love to give the home a higher rating, but I was disappointed with several little details. Perhaps I simply had too high of expectations for a rental property. The Vacasa staff (especially the repairman, Brandon) did all they could to address the issues they could address at the time, such as repairing a broken clothes dryer and replacing a missing smoke detector. There are other details that could be addressed at another time, such as vertical blinds, carpets and furniture, to make it a much nicer experience for future guests. We had a wonderful time. I guess I was just expecting a little more attention to details, considering the price. ##### Jordan G. The views around the home are wonderful! The house is spacious and can accommodate a large group of people. Now when we arrived at the home we did have some issues. The water was turned off and after 2 days it was fixed. Also, the dryer was broke so when we washed our clothes we had to hang them outside or in the bathroom. I specifically wanted this house because of the jacuzzi bathtub but unfortunately that didn't work either. Overall though we did have a good time. ##### Bre D.
