Property is in a nice location with a Great View. House is well equipped for the daily necessities. Spacious, yet cozy home! Teens had a great time on the upstairs game room.
We had 9 people, 2 couples and the rest kids. We had ample amount of space. The pictures don’t show the amount of space you actually have with Amazing views.
Will definitely rent it again.
I would suggest one thing remember to use the humidifiers in the winter.
Stay was excellent! Clean, cozy property, excellent location, view even better than advertised. Had a great boys weekend catching up and enjoying the mountain air. Would absolutely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The sleeping accommodations and other amenities were perfect for our large group’s vacation. It had everything we needed and then some. Would recommend this home to anyone desiring a beautiful place to stay with a great view of the mountains!

Great for Families ... and the VIEW!
Above the Fray was the perfect house and location for our recent family gathering. Six adults and four kids were easily accommodated by the multiple bedroom configurations and bathrooms. The multiple living areas were one of the attractions for us, as this afforded the opportunity for varying needs to be met (no arguing over watching Moana or the hockey playoffs!). Kitchen and dining area was absolute perfection.
Property was clean and well-stocked (although would recommend a central location for toiletries/etc ... we had to do some scavenger hunting!).
Check in and out was simple and the staff were helpful and friendly.
And of course THE VIEWS. Definitely recommend to anyone interested.
Very nice floor plan , but all was just old and dated and missing or broken . When we got there all patio furniture were a mess on both balcony , nothing seemed ready for us , one back door by hot tub was unlocked , half of blinds were shut and some windows where unlocked , bedding is old and covers are dirty as in oily / felt dusty . Oven / cooktop dirty and some dishes were dirty in cabinets !
Carpet in game room was just disgusting and we all started having terrible allergies linked to dust mites. Sheets were scratchy , just real sad !
And the best was this long list of what to do before we left that basically was to fix all that we found with the place . Just shameful from the management to let this place go down !

Amazing views; very nice and spacious home
First thing, the view. The view out almost every window and both patios is phenomenal. The house itself is very nice Amazing, well supplied kitchen, lots of space, and the pool table with ping-pong top is a nice bonus. Sky Run customer service is great. Our microwave didnt work, but we called customer service, and within an hour or two someone was at the house to take care of the problem. We really had only two minor complaints. First, the description says that the house has a propane grill. It does, but the problem was, it looked like it had not been cleaned since, well, ever. We were ready to grill burgers, but had to go to Plan B and cook them on the stove top. The second complaint would be the theater room downstairs. We had wanted to have a couple of movie nights during our stay, but there is no Blu-ray player, no way to access Netflix, and most of the equipment, while very nice, is pretty out of date. However, aside from those two admittedly very minor complaints, this property is absolutely amazing and we had a great time. Highly recommended!
The location was very good, house was as described. The dishwasher had broken glass inside upon arrival making it unusable. Other than that everything was as advertised.

Amazing Accommodations at the start of a crazy crisis in CO
Our group just happened to rent Above the Fray from 3/14 to 3/21 2020. the exact week that the shut down occurred for Colorado ski industry due to COVID-19. We arrived on the 14th at about 5 PM and at 6:30 PM had the news that Breck and Vail would be closed for a week, with an update on 3/20... remainder of season cancelled on 3/17, the day we flew home. So our bad luck, but SkyRun did a great job of communicating and assuring us that our priority had to be getting home. They assured us they would take care of any credit that could be arranged. Above the Fray was amazing and we spent our two days waiting to fly out looking at the vistas and hanging at the house. We were treated to a brand new hot tub which made trying to relax better. Also house is very well outfitted and we cooked nonstop, trying to eat a weeks worth of food in 2.5 days. So sad that we could not enjoy skiing, but made the best of a bizarre situation. SkyRun was very professional and considering what they were responding to, were very responsive to us and showed a genuine concern for our situation. Would definitely rent through SkyRun again.
It was a nice property with a amazing view. Would have been good to know ahead of time how much noise came from the boiler from the bottom floor since it was next to three of the rooms. But overall it was a nice property

We were excited for our stay on this property until we arrived and saw the disrepair and lack of upkeep. The back and front deck railings were so rotted that it was a danger to get anywhere near the edge of the back deck. The paint on the lower deck was peeling up into splinter like spikes that made it painful to walk to the hot tub. The back deck awning was broken. A good amount of the levelers were broken. The living room furniture was badly stained. The advertisement said it slept 11 but it definitely did not have glassware or silverware for 11 people. Several of the stairs leading to the lower floor were loose. There was also just a general grubbiness including stains in the carpet, and smudges of grime on the walls.
We were sadly disappointed with our experience for the price we paid.

Beautiful Home & Views
The home was perfect for our group of 7. The views were amazing. The furnishings very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. We had a car and therefore, did not utilize the free shuttles but did see them frequently just a very short walk down the street. We would 100% recommend this property!

This property exceeded expectations
The breakfast nook was everything we hoped it would be, the views are incredible both from the nook and on the porch. After a long day of skiing it is nice to just relax and watch the sunset on the mountains. We had the max number of people all adults and all of them could not stop talking about what a wonderful house this was. The kitchen is very nicely equipped so if you like to cook in rather than eat in town you will not go wanting. On an outside note, I can't remember if this was mentioned anywhere but the sledding hill behind the house is epic, we had a bunch of fresh powder and we went sledding pretty much everyday.

Great House with stunning views!
The house was comfortable and easily accommodated our group of 8. the kitchen is stocked with all of the cooking supplies you need to make all of your meals at home. The two huge decks with views of the mountains are amazing! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!
