Walk to Everything! Forest Haus is nestled perfectly in the midst of year-round Breckenridge action! Located next to Carter Park, which offers miles of hiking and mountain bike trails, lighted tennis courts, playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, sports courts, and a picnic pavilion. This location is quiet, yet in the heart of the action, being a short 4-block walk to Main Street. Main Street in Downtown Breckenridge has excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, festivals, and historic points of interest. The free bus system has stops only 2-blocks away that will take you anywhere in Breckenridge or to transfers to anywhere in Summit County, including Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Frisco, and Silverthorne. While you can take the bus to Peak 9 or the Gondola, you can also walk the 1/2 mile to the base of Peak 9, about a 15-minute walk for most. Kids also love this perfect location! The condo is located adjacent to Carter Park which is the premier town sledding hill, an Elementary School with a rad playground, and miles of mountainous trails to explore. A short walk down Main Street (or the Riverwalk path), children and adults of all ages may tour a free museum with interactive historical exhibits in downtown Breckenridge.
