Originally booked the Royal Tulip that is part of the same compound, but with Lufthansa rebooking us, we arrived one day earlier, and as Royal Tulip had increased the price a lot we tried the Golden Tulip the first day. It was the easiest hotel change the next day. Not all staff speak English, but it was easy to get help and everyone was very friendly. From the room, you can see the age of the hotel, it's not the best. Had some worn and stained bedding, but they changed it when requested. It's a nice area, there were peacocks wandering outside, the compound (not the hotel itself) is just next to the lake. It had a good restaurant, liked the food and juices, the only complaint would be that when we asked for a refill we got a different juice. The breakfast was good. The only complaint for the morning was the accustics of the hotel. I woke up by what sounded like someone lound in the hallway. But it was a noise guest at breakfast in the floor below. He was such a nuisance that the staff called the police, but the staff was very patient and behaved very well towards the increasingly hostile guest who ended up being a bit physical towards the staff.

I was there for an international conference, and had a double room suite. This was a very good hotel in many respects. However, it was disappointing that basic amenities like a coffee maker (or hot water kettle), mugs, creamer, sugar etc. were absent from the room. These, and a microwave oven, are what we would normally expect to see in a suite - at least in other countries. I was also sorry that it was not close to the city. The grounds were beautiful, and the peacocks were a treat.

L'hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement exceptionnel. Il est très moderne, très propre et parfaitement équipé. La chambre et la salle de bain sont spacieuses et très bien équipées. La clientèle est plutôt une cliente "affaire". Le petit déjeuner est très complet et varié. La restauration le soir est pratique et de qualité. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel et la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner très tôt, le jour de notre départ. Ce que l'on a moins apprécié : les chambres n'étaient pas prêtes à notre arrivée : nous avons du patienter plus de 30 minutes pour le première et plus d'une heure pour la seconde. Commercialement, il aurait été apprécié de nous offrir une boisson pour patienter au bar ou dans les salons de l'hôtel. Prévoir un véhicule pour les déplacements car l'hôtel est loin de tout. Pas de parking. Service voiturier facturé. Forte odeur de cuisine dans les couloirs menant à la chambre.
