"Having a self-service breakfast was very helpful for my requirements. The property was very clean and the room was large and comfortable. The proprietors were quite helpful but I am not sure that it was clear before I arrived that they were not resident on site. I may have missed something somewhere. They however weren't too difficult to get hold of and were pretty responsive but it can still be a bit disconcerting when you first arrive. I was able to leave my luggage while I was out for the day until my return transport was due and that was much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again."

Rooms we saw were spacious and clean We had a room at the back which was light and quiet- we neede a couple of recovery afternoon kips which were uninterrupted. Dinner was tasty & of really good quality and variety; breakfasts hearty with healthier/ continental options. 5 stars. Even locals confirmed best hotel in Shetland "
