This cabin was so comfortable, cozy and well stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful week! Loved the mountain cabin decor, and the location was convenient to Bozeman, rafting and hiking. Our favorite memory was enjoying the snow in June!
This amazing log cabin is nestled in gorgeous mountains, tall trees, and a babbling creek! Beautiful hiking trails in walking distance. Flower gardens, fire pit, picnic table, and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the views. Cozy and comfortable! We will definitely return!!!
The property was clean, cozy and quaint. This was a perfect place we were secluded and it was very relaxing. The horses on the property were a pleasant surprise. The owner was easy to communicate with, answered questions promptly. Close to the trail head which was a great hike. We had all the conveniences of home! We would definitely stay again!
This property is quiet and clean. It was about 10-20 minutes outside of Bozeman so not too bad for going back and forth if needed. We are from Wyoming and stayed for spring break so it was still snowy as we expected. We weren’t able to use the outside fire pit but used the fireplace several nights. Just an all around great week and great place to stay for us.
We loved our stay. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. The cabin was even better than expected. The attention to detail with the decorating was great. We loved the 'old' stove. The cozy blankets in the living room were a great touch. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit and patio as much as the cabin. The landscaping was immaculate! The cabin was perfect for our stay. There are horses in the adjoining pasture, that are friendly. They came right up to us at the fence. We would stay again.
High expectations since we were here 6 years ago, and the cabin and surroundings were even better than remembered. Very well maintained and such a special place, sleeping to the babble of the creek and looking out the window into the beautiful meadow.
Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. The kitchen was well equipped. We easily made breakfast every morning. The host was great. Good communications and very quick following my text questions. The cabin is charming and very comfortable. The yard was expertly manicured. The fire pit area is nice and very relaxing. The cabin is a few miles out of town but easily accessible. Its nice to be away from town when you just want to kick back.If you are going to Bozeman and want a great spot, give this spot a try.
We had a wonderful stay in this well decorated, comfortable cabin in the woods. Michael was always quick to respond to our questions and most accommodating. We immediately felt at home upon entering the cabin. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone considering a stay at this property. Convenient to have a trailhead just a 1/2 mile down the road.
The cabin was wonderful. It would be nice for information on the baseboard heating suggestions as it seemed to go from too hot to too cold. Also, the toaster worked poorly.
Having a good, steel snow shovel and a few snow "Toys" might be beneficial.
Overall we greatly enjoyed the cabin and the visit!

Perfect Cabin in the Woods
This place is tremendous. Quiet. Secluded. Very responsive and attentive owner. Even though it was constantly high 80s/low 90s the cabin stayed cool and very comfortable even without A/C.
The interior has fantastic decorations. Everything you want in a Montana cabin in the woods. Bathroom was very clean and shower worked perfectly. Kitchen was stocked with supplies, too.
The two bedrooms were perfect for myself and my wife in the queen bed, and my brother in the second bedroom bunkbeds. Also, the queen bed was very comfortable.
The cabin is easy to find and like I said before, Michael makes it very easy to book and arrive. We even received a bouquet of wildflowers and a little thing of huckleberry jam as a welcome gift.
Highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Bozeman.
Our second time staying in the cabin, and we'll book again if we can get back to Bozeman. Lovely, quiet location. Charming, rustic cabin. Ideal for just getting away from it all. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy living room.Stay in the cabin and just relax!
We were looking for a small home in a rural location, but close enough to town to visit old friends and neighbors. This cabin was perfect! There was a little more traffic on the (dead-end) road than we expected, because of the trail at the end of the canyon, we suspect, but it was wonderfully quiet at night and we slept very soundly.
We loved the cabin! Though it's an older property and so not spotless, the cabin was well-maintained, clean, and neat, and the kitchen was well provisioned and clean. We prepared meals there and dined in comfort.
We were delighted to hear Cottonwood Creek at the bottom of the hill, and one of the highlights of our week there was to sit on the hill behind the cabin with a glass of wine in the evening and listen to the creek in the cool of the evening.
For us, this was centrally located: easy access to town (20 min), to Flying D, Virginia City, and Yellowstone West Entrance.
Our only regret is that we didn't book an extra couple of days to simply sit at "home" and enjoy this cabin. Wonderful property, and we hope to return next year.
