"the location is ideal for walking about the city - no shortage of restaurant options, the view from the room was literally open window to the canal. A lovely courtyard, great breakfast and very friendly front desk staff (when present). It is about a 30 minute walk from the train on very cobbled streets but once there it is absolutely perfect"

"Very well located in Bruges. Easy walking distance of all the attractions, restaurants, cafes, shops and so on. Beautiful grounds and peaceful sleep at night in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast good, plenty of choice although all self service buffet. No eggs cooked to order. Good access to train station, within walking distance. Very much enjoyed a 3 night stay here. "

"The service was exceptional! The hotel is centrally located two blocks from the main square. When we arrived, they had our rooms ready two hours early. They provided us with great information on where to go and had a welcome drink ready. Babette and Laurence were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Though it's rustic, the hotel was updated in all the important areas. The bed was stellar, and the bathroom fully appointed and updated. Excellent water pressure in the shower (a common issue in boutique hotels) and a fully functioning coffee/espresso maker! Plus they provided a bottle of still and a bottle of sparkling water daily. "
