You can walk across the highway for beach access, but we drove to the public pier which was maybe 2 or 3 blocks away. Just easier for us, since we had a 4 yr old with us. We walked to Mango Marleys for supper....a bit crowded there, but great food! I enjoyed the small patio in back of our unit....has 2 wicker chairs and a pretty view of a canal. The condo was clean, had nice cold A/C, and in a quiet area. Communication with the owner was very good....we had no dishwasher detergent or hand soap, but I let him know and he said he would have the house keeper replenish those. Clean, convenient to the beach, on-site bike rentals available, grills and picnic tables & a very nice pool/spa area. Walking distance to a good restaurant, coffee shop, ice cream/pizza, but no nearby/convenient place to shop for household/grocery items, so be sure to bring those things in or plan for a drive. The beach access is right across the street and the beach is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Wonderful for families. The unit itself is updated and comfortable.
