Bourg Holidays from £1,207

We arrived on a late flight and dropped off at the hotel door a little after midnight. The doors were locked with a sign saying use room key to enter. We tried the intercom and calling the front desk, but nobody responded. Fortunately another couple returned the hotel after about 10 minutes and they let us in. Once in, there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We again tried calling (and shouting to the back room), but no answer. Finally after about 10 more minutes someone showed up and we’re able to check in. They apologized that they can’t hear the door buzzer or phone from wherever they were in the back room. My question is why not? Their walkie Talkie was sitting on the counter….or bring a portable handset to answer the phone. There were dirty head scarf thrown on the floor in our hallway that remained there at 11:00 the next day. All that being said, the room was nice and clean and the rest of the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly…just a rocky start after long, exhausting flight. We still recommend the hotel, but would rate it higher if there was better coverage on the night we arrived.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely property in very convenient location. Would highly recommend

very hot but right near burbon street, ac is terrible, water not very hot and extra charge when you get there..
