Walnut Mews - Quiet Creekside townhome next to Pearl Street

  • Mews [myo͞oz] noun (British) - a row or street of houses that have been converted from stables or built to look like former stables.

    Our two-story townhome with a two-car garage is nestled in a quaint, quiet creekside complex. With a living room, a full kitchen on the main level, and two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, you will have plenty of space for two couples or a family with kids.

    Have your cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the front porch overlooking beautiful common gardens or on a second-floor balcony off the master with a view of the creek.

    If you are not in the mood to explore many great Boulder restaurants in the neighborhood, cook your own meal in a fully stocked kitchen with brand-new Bertazzoni appliances, including an induction range. We provide coffee, tea, basic spices, and oil.

    Get cozy by a wood-burning fireplace in the evening. The TV has cable channels and apps like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, and Pandora for your entertainment. The living room sectional can comfortably sleep one adult or two kids.

    Upstairs south-facing master bedroom has a partially vaulted ceiling, ensuite bath, and an outdoor balcony with seating. The 2nd bedroom is facing North and is more spacious and has a walk-in closet. Both bedrooms have deluxe queen-size beds with plush bedding and iron-pressed crisp white 100% cotton linens. Big fluffy towels add even more comfort to your stay. Bathrobes and candles are for maximum relaxation after a long day.

    High-efficiency steam washer and dryer are conveniently located in the unit for your laundry needs, but please leave house laundry for professionals. Detergent is provided.

    Parking in Boulder's downtown area is challenging sometimes. However, with an onsite private parking and an attached two-car garage, it could not be easier for our guests. You can simply leave your car and walk everywhere. And we have two bikes for our guests to cruise Boulder paths in style!
    It is an easy walk to Pedestrian Pearl Street Mall, where all the action and all the best restaurants are. Our historic Whittier neighborhood is a walker's paradise, with lovingly tended gardens, magnificent shade trees, and gorgeous Victorian homes.

We loved our stay at Walnut Mews! A perfect location: walkable to Pearl Street with its many restaurants and shops, the farmers market, BMoCA, and Boulder Creek path. It was also just a convenient little drive to trailheads, the CU campus, NCAR, Celestial Seasonings, and Target. The home itself was both stylish and comfortable, with upscale furnishings throughout. The two-car garage eliminated any parking worries, too.We were sad to leave and hope to stay there again! A true little gem on the creek.

Great location

This was a great place to stay. It was walking distance to Pearl Street which we loved. My husbands truck didn’t fit in the garage - but we felt totally safe parking it in the parking lot. It had everything we needed for the week we stayed. We would definitely stay again!!

Quick visit

Came to Colorado to tour a few colleges. This was the perfect place for us. Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood but walkable to Pearl street. Look forward to coming back!
