Outstanding staff, continuously offering to be helpful. Good location, on a relatively quiet street just off of walkable Kloof Street but not in an area teeming with tourists. Afternoon tea and sweets. Restaurant in adjacent building with indoor and outdoor seating. No plans to return to Cape Town but would definitely stay here again.

What a place! Everything is fabulous and the staff are exceptional. This was our 6th visit to the Cellars and it won’t be our last. The beautiful gardens together with the stylish interiors make for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The restaurant food is delicious too, what’s not to like?

We had a wonderful stay at Labotessa Hotel. Service was in a class all by itself, breakfast was delicious and included, and each day coming home we would feel like we were greeted by family. Highly recommend!!

The kitchen was well equipped with a dishwasher, etc. The air conditioning was nice upstairs in the bedroom but there was none downstairs in the living room and dining room. Accommodation was OK but room 101 was right next to the reception area and was too noisy with people checking out and using the pathway next to the room to roll big noisy bins full of luggage from before 7 am. Avoid room 101 like the plague!!
