There’s a full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, sink, and keurig with an assortment of coffee available. It was equipped with everything we needed. There’s central air (A/C) that worked great and kept the place cool. We loved that there’s parking available behind the house. The proximity to everything in Salem was great. It took us about 15 min to get to Essex. The owner was very quick to respond through the VRBO chat if we had questions about anything. Stairs to the third floor are a bit on the skinny side. We were there on the hottest day so far and house was very cool. The shower poll was so rusty. The description on the website said stovetop and dishwasher and soap and shampoo provided well none of that. Only shampoo was mens shampoo. You paid a cleaning fee not sure what they cleaned so many dust bunnies around the place, the tub needed some clorlox bleach. You can not use toaster oven and microwave at the same time or the hot water pot. The 3rd floor is very roomy. ##### Colleen T. The plants in the area were inviting. There were a few things I didn’t like. 1\. There was a closet off the living room with the hvac system, it was very loud when it kicked on and was on quite often. 2\. There was a lot of water damage in the bathroom that had been painted over. The fan must not work or something because even when it’s on the humidity stays in the room. 3\. Most importantly the door to the stairs which leads to the room didn’t lock unless you were inside. The key would not lock the door. You could only use a chain lock when inside the room to lock the door. It was nice because it was close to attractions, about a 15-20 min walk.
