A newly constructed condo on a quiet, tree-lined street in Jamaica Plain (02130), with 1,250 square feet of designer finishes and Forest Hills Station 0.1 miles away. Comfortable for a few nights, genuinely livable for a few months.
The space: three bedrooms with queen and double beds, sleeping up to 6. Two full bathrooms with high-end fixtures, plush towels and hotel-grade linens. Open-plan living and dining with designer furniture and good natural light, plus a separate work room.
Set up for longer stays: a kitchen with premium stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher), fully stocked with cookware, cutlery and dinnerware, plus coffee maker, kettle, toaster, spices, oil and condiments. In-unit washer and dryer with detergent provided. Central heating and air conditioning. High-speed Wi-Fi for video calls and streaming, two smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and Disney+, and a dedicated desk with warm lighting.
Families: pack and play with pad (please bring your own linens), booster seat on request, children's books and toys.
Getting around: Forest Hills Station is a two-minute walk, with the Orange Line to Downtown, Back Bay and North Station, and the Commuter Rail to South Station and Longwood. The Arnold Arboretum is a five-minute walk. Longwood Medical is 3.5 miles, BU 4.5, Harvard 5.5 and MIT 6. Fifteen to twenty-five minutes by car to downtown Boston, Brookline and Fenway.
Good for: medical and academic staff on rotation, traveling professionals, and families who want a quiet, new-build home with fast access to the whole city.
