Had a great stay, staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant on the evening and food was delicious, thoroughly recommended.

The moment we arrived to our departure the whole experience was very stress free and relaxing. When you have had a full day you don't want to be delayed booking in. Breakfast provided a variety of options and was very well presented. All the staff acknowledged your existence and were genuinely warm. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Very close to the old town 25min walk or two regular buses.

What a find - a hotel in a working convent that used to be a palace! Breakfast nice, dinner excellent. Good choice of wines and beer. Room spotlessly clean, nice size. Grounds beautifully kept. Lovely long walking trails in the woods behind the convent. Plenty of safe parking. Very tranquil, absolutely top class, and at a very fair price. This is the second time I have stayed there, and will do so again.

Stayed here several times en route to Italy (it's our halfway point). Excellent location, big carpark, friendly staff, comfortable bed. There is also a pool, although we have never used it. Always great value and breakfast is good too. My only (slight) gripe is that there is no kettle in the room, but there is a bar and a vending machine.

Very nice hotel with welcoming staff, good food and beautifully placed in the centre of town.

Owner very friendly and helpful

Great hotel in a picturesque setting. An ideal stop over on our way to the south of France.

Perfect for a one night stop off!

Bed is okay. No noise. They don’t offer free hot water for drink, have to microwave water.

It did what it said on the advert for the hotel! It was conveniantly situated off the motorway en-route to Germany or Switzerland or beyond.

We had just a one night stay here on out travels. It's a beautiful Chateau with the reception rooms preserved in their original decor. We booked last minute so were in the annex which is obviously recently refurbished and was a delightful room with a french window to a private garden. The grounds are lovely and huge and you have a real sense of stepping back in time. The staff were absolutely lovely and Breakfast was excellent. We loved the honesty bar complete with complimentary Port. Would and...
