We stayed here in Classe for two nights before leaving on a cruise out of Ravenna. We are a family of 6 and stayed in 2 Junior suites, which was perfect for us. The hotel is small, maybe 15 rooms total, and is right next to the Basilica di Sant'Apollinare with it's beautiful mosaics and city park.
The staff is very helpful and kind (we used a lot of Google translate). Be aware that the office is closed from 12-4 so don't hope for an early check-in. They allowed us to store our luggage and we explored the town and ate lunch while waiting.
Breakfast was lovely and the coffee excellent. We ate dinner at their restaurant on Saturday evening, which I highly recommend!
The rooms are air-conditioned with a mini fridge, hair dryer and satellite TV so our boys could watch the world cup.
In town, definitely try L'Angolo del Gelato di Classe - the gelato was exceptional and we stopped by twice. The train station is an easy walk from the hotel and a 5 minute train ride gets you to Ravenna.
