"Rooms were clean and bright. Ample parking, easy to find. Close to the shops and restaurants, though not easy walking distance, there's lots of metered parking there. Registration, check in and check out are via email, quite easy even if you're minimally technology savvy. Altogether a pleasant stay"

"The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant served great food and was reasonably priced. Service was fantastic. The outside space was beautiful with a great view. No complains about anything at all. Next time in town, we will know exactly where to stay: at the Grandview!"

"Great location right on Paradox Bay which leads into Lake Placid. The room was nice with great amenities. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the dock with the usage of the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe. Pool was open, but did not use it."

"The property is in a lovely setting and there are many amenities available. The food in the restaurants was average and a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. The resort in general was kept clean. Upon checking in Everyone was friendly and helpful. However, the room had hair left in the bathroom and old bars of soap left in the shower the carpeting is dated and stained. I expected a little more for the price but overall I would book again we’ve stayed at many different places in Lake Placid and this is at the top of my list."

"We had such a wonderful stay! The apartment was cozy, clean, and charming, just as pictured, with the cutest alcoves and beautiful rustic details throughout. It was the perfect spot for our little Lake Placid getaway. We loved it and hope to return! "
