This chic, updated cabin is nestled in the pine trees of Sprucewold, a 100-year-old, summer, log cabin community and is sure to provide an unforgettable Maine experience. Relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods with deer, wild turkeys and the tranquil sound of Woodcocks. Or, take advantage of restaurants, boating, shopping and breweries, just a mile away in downtown Boothbay Harbor. Whatever you choose, its sure to be a memorable experience. Once inside, you’ll see that it has been furnished with an original dining table, but most pieces are newly updated and includes a Restoration Hardware sofa and chairs. The original fireplace is still operational, and the mantel displays a 40-inch flat screen TV that has basic channels, or you can stream your own services if you have them: Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, etc. The kitchen has been updated and includes a new refrigerator, sink, small appliances and countertops. It is perfectly designed and stocked with all the supplies you need to fix a simple breakfast or a gourmet dinner. We really enjoyed our stay at Lola's Lodge. The cabin is nestled in the woods but close to town and was a great place to relax after a day of exploring the area. It has all the amenities you could possibly need, is nicely decorated and very comfortable. We were intrigued by the history of the cabin and the area and look forward to a return visit! ##### Betty O. What a beautifully appointed log cabin with everything one might need to prep delicious food. It was cozy and inviting enough to want curl up by the fire or listen to the rain drops on the porch and drink wine and listen to music, but also close enough to town and the coasy to go exploring. We couldn’t have asked for more! Great communication with the host, easy check in and out, photos are exactly as the property presents so many lovely amenities and nice touches.
