Additional Notes: \- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax. \- Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional $25/night each plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. \- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge. \- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. \- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional $50 amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development. \- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. \- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates. \- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.) \- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks. \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. \- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception. \- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations. It was clean and easy to get to. The view was lovely. There is some road noise, but nothing that bothered us. This is not a complaint, but a suggestion. Buy a few pieces of glassware to drink out of. The only issue with the place is that the address isn't NC registered, so it doesn't show up on any GPS application (google, apple, waze, etc.). This is an issue luckily, we went to the real estate entrance, and they were able to help. Fix that and this would have been the perfect weekend. ##### Joseph R. The cabin was clean, new, and so cozy. It was stocked with everything you need, but close enough to Banner Elk that you can make a quick trip to town. The couch is extra comfy and the large shower was amazing. My favorite bonus was the Bluetooth speaker at the coffee bar. ##### Shanna D. It was secluded enough for us to feel like we were alone. The only dings was that it was right off the main road and we heard cars constantly and the bed was a little harder than I was used to staying on.
