"Lovely clean hotel with city centre location yet quiet street with very little noise. "

"We booked this for a speakers night that was on (Mel Gibson no less!) but it was postponed so we decided to use the hotel anyway for a night in Glasgow. The only things I can comment on is the check in and the room itself - the check in was smooth - the receptionist was lovely and very helpful allowing us access to our room early to save us leaving our bags with them. The room was clean and spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the facilities or have breakfast but we were happy with what we did see. (The aroma in the reception area was so nice!) No complaints."

"Unfortunately we stayed in room 504 - £112 per night. Our room backed on to the railway station and we heard the trains into late evening and very early morning - hence no sleep. I complained to a manager, but unfortunately nothing she could do because it was prepaid. The rooms should be priced on a sliding scale. Room was fine. Lovely shower, toiletries and lovely selection of teas and coffees, also lovely bedding. Breakfast was Unfortunately self service and a bit cold from lying out. I would not return and think for the same money you can get the Radisson blue."

"The lighting is very dark when you walk into this hotel, but the ambience is actually rather good. Bar and restaurant areas were well laid out. Food was good. Room was very clean, comfortable, and a good size. Location is great if you are passing by Edinburgh."

"No glass or even a plastic disposable tumbler in room. Woke in middle of the night & nothing, had to squint my mouth under tap to get a drink...never been in a hotel without water or a glass before? I don't care how environmentally friendly your trying to be, basic necessity of being able to get a drink of water in a room is essential, imagine an emergency situation! Other than that, nice enough but room electrics all a bit confusing.. Sort the glasses out please."
