Relax at the Lakehouse with a Dock

  • Relax anytime of the year on Lake Moultrie near Bonneau, SC. This charming waterfront cabin has 2 bedrooms that sleeps five. When you aren't enjoying your time on the giant screen porch, relaxing in your rocking chair, you'll be playing on the water.

    The space
    This is simply a rustic cabin on the lake. Living and dining room with cozy fireplace, kitchen and 2 Bedrooms; BR1 has a Queen bed, BR2 has a bunk bed with 1 twin bed and a Double on the bottom . Washer and Dryer are on site.

    Enjoy the most breathtaking cove on the lake. Massive screen porch has full views of the water. Ospreys, Bald Eagles and fishing abounds on this 60,000 acre lake near Charleston, South Carolina (50mins away). FREE Public boat landings to launch your boat, then tie up to the private dock for your stay. Plenty of stores to pick up supplies are reasonably close in Moncks Corner, SC plus convenience stores within minutes of the house.

    Enjoy your private time alone or with family. We will arrange access to the home for you and let you enjoy your retreat. We can help with all sorts of information about things to do if you want to take day trips to Charleston. We want to help make your trip spectacular.

    This is a neighborhood with families living around. It is not set-up to be a party house with loud music into the night. We want you to enjoy your time in our house and for the community to enjoy having you.

    Plenty of parking, no public transportation. We can help arrange transportation from airport, if needed..

It was a great place to stay, quiet neighborhood and pretty private even though you have neighbors. Property owner allows you to use kayaks and fishing poles which was nice. Great stay overall.

It was a great place and easy to get around for fishing charter on the lakes. It was a hot week and air conditioning was a must - very happy with the accomodations.

Beautiful sunrises

We enjoyed our time on Lake Moultrie. The sun rising over the lake was beautiful. My favorite part was sitting on the screened porch and reading. Everything we needed for our stay was provided.

Fishing Trip

We had an awesome time. Great location. We loved that all we had to do was walk out and got on our boat. I would suggest that you make the pavement on the boat landing or ramp longer, it has a real bad drop off and needs to be extended, but besides that we loved it.

Sitting on the dock in a bay

Had an enjoyable one week stay. The dock is nice, especially if you had a boat! It's too weedy to fish from the dock. Enjoyed sitting out at night with a few beverages. The house was small but very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. The only issue was minor cleanliness areas. I rated it 5 stars, though it was probably a 4.5.

Precious and cozy lake house. Amazing large back porch, with a porch swing , on the lake with a dock. It was very comfortable and had every amenity! We are big coffee, drinkers, so we’re delighted with the stocked cake cups!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We brought our jet ski and it was so convenient to tie it to the dock. The cove was quite and the water was calm even when the big water got choppy. The house was very comfortable. It did turn out to be a very expensive stay for us because the TV in the house had the most amazing picture we ended up coming home and ordering ourselves a TV just like it. Lol We would absolutely recommend this house.

2nd time renting because we Love this house!

Great little house on the water. We were able to bring our boat, put in the water in the backyard landing and left tied up to the dock. It’s really nice being able to come and go on the boat whenever you want. Back porch is sooooo relaxing with a great view. Kitchen is nice and clean with most necessities you would need. Neighbors are nice but leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. This is our 2nd time staying and we definitely will again!

The owner of this property is #1. Michael goes above and beyond to make sure you have EVERYTHING you need!!! The house itself is very charming, and the screened porch with the lake view is spectacular! After our return to our home, Michael called to inquire about our stay. We travel quite often and have never had an owner be so concerned about our stay. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PROPERTY OR OWNER!!! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND FOR A VACATION AT THE LAKE

Exploring lake life in South Carolina

We enjoyed our time at Lake Moultrie, we arrived off season so all was quiet. When the sun shines, the water is pretty, the birds sing and the Spanish moss hang from the trees. It's quintessential South Carolina low country. The house was perfect in every way for the two of us. It was tastefully appointed and decorated (the pictures don't even show a lot of the additions and updates so it was an added bonus.) The living room has all new reclining furniture perfect for those quiet nights reading or watching a show. It was conveniently located to Charleston, Murrell's Inlet and Myrtle Beach all of which we visited, Murrell's Inlet being our favorite. The kitchen was well stocked (hopefully the fry pans and spatulas can be next on the list of updates) right down to Old Bay seasoning, napkins, storage bags, etc. that made our traveling easier. Having a washer/dryer made our packing and traveling to our next destination that much more pleasant. Mike is very attentive and quick to respond. One caution: beware the irritable waitstaff at Watermark Bar and Grill.

We loved this location and cute little house! The owner has thought of it all. He shares access to his games, fishing poles, paddle boat, extra supplies…everything. It was nice to be able to come into a nice cool house, when it was so hot and humid….AC worked great. Perfect little family getaway spot! One thing we loved in this little town, was Cypress Gardens. A must see when you stay!

Serenity on the Lake

My husband and I live near Myrtle Beach and were looking for an escape from the noise and crowds of bike week. This lakefront cottage could not have been more perfect. The cottage itself is adorable, and the huge screened-in porch overlooking the lake quickly became my favorite place. The home is spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed. If you are considering this rental, go ahead and book it. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Peaceful getaway

This property is great! We had our family with us and the grandkids enjoyed the lake the paddle boat and the neighbors kids next door. It was a short trip on our boat to short stay where we hung out with other boaters and on the beach. Would definitely go again.
