The house was absolutely perfect for our needs, as we were all heading into the park every day for fieldwork: close to Deer Lake for supplies, close to all the sites in the park we needed to access, and on a lovely quiet road. The amenities in the house were also perfect for us (e.g. the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry) given that we were a group of adults all doing our own washing and cooking. Neil was extremely communicative and helpful with any and all questions I had. In short: perfect stay, and I'm sure I'll be contacting Neil again for more trips if we do more work in the park in future! ##### Elizabeth F. It was a 30 minute drive to to the Water’s Edge, Festival Headquarters in Woody Point which was no hardship because it was stunning! We were awestruck just driving in to the Festival. ( plus being close to the Jackladder for a turkey mess and a Day Boil was the bomb). Alder House is absolutely perfect for 3 couples with 3 bedrooms, all queen size beds. It has a fully functional kitchen and the living room was a comfy spot for talking about our adventures. Really nice spot.
