Sadly the rooms need updating, no plugs by the mirror, no plugs by the bed and no phone charger plugs. No air con in the room, was provided a small fan however it was very lacking in power so not very helpful, we had a very uncomfortable night and did not sleep very well. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and staff very friendly.

What used to be a beautiful building is now in a terrible state. It is in desperate need of a refurbishment and a good clean. It’s in a terrible state and the public areas are worn, tatty and dirty. The breakfast was inedible, badly cooked and cold items were stale. Bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom functional but dated. Staff really lovely and trying their best in very difficult conditions.
