This suite was fabulously positioned. During weekends the busy road in front turns into a pedestrian area which is great. Plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The balcony was a great place to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. It is one block off of Piazza Maggiore and you can walk to most of the sites you’ll want to see. There is plenty of dining and shopping in the area. It isn’t a quiet part of town and if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs. I stayed in the Beatrice room and it was clean and good size for 1-2 people. There is a lift to bring you to the top floor. I didn’t meet any of the staff in person, but did communicate with Massimo via WhatsApp. Check in and out were simple and I could drop my bags early or leave them if I had needed to. Massimo also arranged for an early morning taxi to the airport for me. The location couldn't be better in the center of Bologna. Very easy walks to local sights and dining options. The included breakfast was very good at a local coffee shop. The room was comfortable and had a balcony with a lovely view but rather uncomfortable couch. The only complaint is the difficulty we had in finding the B&B. It is on the fifth floor of what otherwise is an office building with no external signage identifying the B&B. Thankfully we were accompanied by a local taxi driver who found the building and was able to contact someone inside to help us get in. The instructions we had been provided on gaining entry to the B&B were in retrospect accurate, but at the time in a heavy rain, not clear enough for us to follow. With the caveat to be sure how to find it and how to get in, you will enjoy the stay.
