Had a short overnight stay and wished I had booked two nights. It was close to the train station which I needed after schlepping my luggage all over Switzerland and Italy. Although I didn’t cook anything, it has everything you would need. Was nice to finally have a fridge.

at check in was told that the rooms would not be serviced for 4 days - ie the length of our stay. the first place shown had leftover food in the fridge, dirty laundry and bins in the corridor, next one shown (which we took) was likes student digs and certainly not 3 star. there was no coffee in the room just about 15 bags of sugar. attention to details was severely lacking. for the price paid, i feel that was unacceptable and we were grossly overcharged. Definitely left a bad taste for our trip to Bologna. would NOT recommend Astoria appts at all.

The check-in experience was disappointing from the very beginning. The receptionist barely paid attention and seemed interested only in checking guests in as quickly as possible. It felt rushed, hectic, and far from professional. The room itself was acceptable, but the air conditioning in the bedroom was unbelievably loud and not working. Considering it was 36–37°C outside, having a working A/C wasn’t a luxury, it was essential. I reported the issue immediately to the shift manager, who simply said they would “look into it,” but also implied that it was basically normal and they cannot do anything about it rather than calling a technician. Later that evening, I returned to the room expecting the issue to be fixed. Nothing had changed. The air conditioning was still so noisy, still not working, that sleeping in the bedroom was nearly impossible. During our five-night stay, I contacted reception every single day about the same problem. Despite repeated complaints, absolutely nothing was done. No repair, no room change, no real effort to resolve the issue. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. They came across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. Customer service was practically nonexistent. If you’re looking for a hotel where guest complaints are ignored and professionalism is lacking, this is the perfect place. I certainly won’t be returning, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Stannade en natt. Boendet var bra, rent och allt vi behövde fanns. Bäddsoffan var inte så bekväm och AC i både sovrummet och vardagsrummet fungerade bra, men lät väldigt högt.
