The best time to visit Bolkendorf is during the late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to early October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.During late spring, the countryside is in full bloom, and the temperatures are comfortably mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C. This period is ideal for outdoor activities such as cycling along the Oder-Neisse Cycle Path or exploring the local nature reserves, where you can enjoy the lush greenery and wildlife. You'll find fewer tourists than in the peak summer months, allowing for a more serene experience.Early autumn also offers agreeable weather, with temperatures often between 12°C and 18°C, and the landscape is painted with beautiful autumnal colours.
