The staff were generally nice around the hotel but the staff at the check-in werent the nicest. Their attitudes could be improved a bit. I was located on the first floor but was ok with the noise. It is a nice quirky hotel that has a great bar with nice collection of food.

There was an employee Joan Sebastia who was extremely helpful. He gave a lot info about Bogota this was my first time there and I was a little bit nervous. He also gave information of money exchange, taxi rates and so on . The breakfast was great

This property is beautiful and covered in plants! The staff were attentive and the stay was great. Two things to note: No AC, and when they say "included breakfast," there is a restaurant on-site, but you still have to pay for breakfast; it's not included. Neither of these two things took away from my stay however I fully enjoyed the Hotel, it is absolutely beautiful!

A great hotel stay experience! The staff are friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself is comfortable and appealing. The patio area surrounded by plants was relaxing to sit and read, and the restaurant/cafe had delicious food. Would recommend staying here if you’re in town.

The hotel is in a safe area of Bogota, good breakfast and other food options, including health options, plus quality of food was high. Small gym on site. I had a medium room and it was spacious and had a good view. The staff help with getting safe transport.

Beautiful space in a great location. Lots of restaurants and cafes in close proximity. On site restaurant is also very good. Service was great; both front desk and housekeeping. We stayed in an upgraded room which was larger than most. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel. We loved the filtered water since everyone else seems to have plastic water bottle, which we are trying to avoid. Safe area, lots of good restaurants around. Staff is friendly and nice restaurant in the hotel. Would stay there again.

HAB is a great little hotel with kind of a boutique feel. The common dining spaces have fun, hip vibe. Dimly lit, a fire place, leather benches, good food, and background music that borders on a DJ spinning house. So if you want silence while dining, this isn’t the place for you. The room itself is very basic. But clean and comfortable. A good spot for queer travelers…just a 5 minute walk to the many bars and nightlife.

The area is NOT bad at all if you are looking at Dining options and quietness, What I didn't like about the hotel was then service, First, I told them I was going to get there at around noon and they said I would have to pay 120,000 Colombian pesos = $30 USD otherwise check in was at 3pm...They didn't even give me an option, Then I get to the room that I was assigned and it was at street level right next to the street, so obviously was loud even when people were walking and talking on the sidewalk I could hear them, Then my shower didn't have hot water so I messaged in and they never replied to my messages I tried calling and they never answer, so when I was doing an earlier than book check out the receptionist told me that she was busy and that's why she didn't replied or answer my call SMH....Anyways I left and would probably never come back again

Charming, stylish hotel located in the lovely Chapinero Alto neighbourhood within walking distance of numerous dining options. Carrera 7, which leads directly to the historic district of La Candelaria, is just two blocks away, making HAB Hotel ideally located for exploring Bogotá. I had a Small room, which was more than adequate for one person; couples of people sharing a room should probably consider upgrading to a larger one. Both the rooms and common areas are spotless, cozy and well maintained. The fountains where guests could fill their water bottles are a particularly nice touch, and the friendly, efficient staff also deserve a special mention. Highly recommended.

A mixed bag
Beautifully-decorated hotel marred by generally unfriendly staff, paper-thin walls, and a poorly-equipped gym. Service at the cafe/restaurant is off-putting, with a rather apathetic and gossipy staff that are prone to vulgar language; for example, a homophobic slur is commonplace. I understand this word (mar-) is colloquially-prevalent and even endearing amongst close friends in Colombia, but in a professional environment welcoming a global community with unique backgrounds and lived experiences, it’s disheartening to overhear this frequently. I felt uncomfortable by the cursing and was eager to leave. Additionally, I was unlucky to have a family with two young children stay in the adjacent room. The walls are so thin that I woke up at four in the morning from the kids’ wailing. The fault isn’t on the family - it’s on the lack of soundproofing. The room layout is also strange, with a pointless sofa in the entryway, and a window overlooking a brick building. Lastly, the gym is incomplete (but better than nothing). The location, however, is brilliant, and the entrance/lobby quite gorgeous, with plentiful security. There are extraordinary eats just steps away: the restaurant Mini Mal is an essential stop if you’re around, Overall - rather disappointing, with plenty of roof for improvement.

Hotel HAB was ideal for our vacation in Bogota. The area around the hotel had some excellent dining options. The hotel is on a quiet street which can be hard to find in Bogota. It was easy to get a taxi to other areas of the city and the airport. The room had great decor and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend Hotel HAB in Bogota.

This is a lovely property that suits a guest who values a lively lobby and bar scene above a restful stay. I checked in and asked for a quiet room and was assured I'd been given one. To the contrary, the very loud music from the lobby restaurant played until past ten at night, and on one weeknight until 11:30 pm, and traveled loudly into my room. Conversation in the hall is as loud as it would be if the other guests were in your room. The safe in my room was inoperable and the despite assurances it would be fixed on the first day, was still inoperable on day 4. The door to my small bathroom never closed either, and the it swung into the sink area. These annoying, easy-to-fix features of the room were never addressed. The hotel does not provide a laundry service and sends guests down the street. Other than that, the building in charming building in a nice neighborhood that is walkable and full of local restaurants and activity. The beds are comfortable and food in the restaurant, including the breakfasts are very good. If the staff were more attentive and quiet rooms were indeed quiet and the maintenance slightly better I would gladly repeat my stay.

Perfect location and close to minimarkets, restaurants and bars. The room was nice but smaller than i thought it would be. It was smaller than the room i had at a cheaper hotel. Amenities were nice, clean and comfy. Take note that there is no AC (overlooked this when i booked) so the room was very hot in the current weather. There was only a small window that we opened for air circulation and we had a small fan we bought earlier during our trip which helped. Areas to improve: wifi was very slow in our room. Fridge didnt work (wasnt cooling). Asked for assiduously but it never came.

Decent hotel but as someone who was looking for fun bars to go out to, HAB’s area is very residential. Lots of small restaurants, but really no night life. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good (you get one main entree). I would recommend for older folks looking for a more chill vibe

The staff was great. Restaurant was unbelievable. Luis Angel is a great cook. The prices were unbelievable. The hotel staff including Sébastien was friendly and helpful. My server/waiter Alejandro made me feel like we were number 1.
