Spacious, clean room, in the center of the town, equipped small kitchen and free laundry facility. The check-in was very easy, good remote customer service. "I was at Haven, formerly Hotel Schmidt-Monique in Bochum for 8-days. I arrived 25-minutes before the “official” check-in time and was told I could check-in early for €20. Needless to say I waited the 25 minutes. The new owners are focussing on the hotel so the restaurant that was originally part of the hotel complex is currently closed. There are very few options for eating in the area of the hotel. There is a great bakery for coffee and something to eat in the morning, but it’s a little...

"Comfortable beds and great breakfast."

"Conveniently centrally located in Bochum, near Hauptbahnhof. I had a studio (together with my dog) on the top floor, which was great. In room anemities are basically some paper cups, but at reception the hotel has some guest facilities like a microwave/oven/bar/drinks facilities. Very friendly staff. Parking is cheaper when looking across the street. Beds were good. I'd come back here!"

"We didn’t have high expectations from this place. Check in person wasn’t speaking English but was very helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The common area and specially the restrooms and showers were not very clean. Location is in a middle of nowhere. The price was super high due to the Euro 24 championship. Ok stay but we will probably not stay there again. "

Was having a very quick stop on route to Berlin so didn’t use any facilities, gym, bar etc. Reception staff spoke excellent English and were cheerful and helpful when I arrived late at 3am!!
