"This was our second visit here in two months. We love the location, easy check-in and check-out. Pool area is wonderful and you are one block away from the beach. Added bonus on this trip was the pizza restaurant that recently opened on the property. Very good food and live entertainment every night we were there which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our room was clean and comfortable the kitchenette that was very useful. The rooms are dated, but are in good repair, and clean. Staff was very accommodating, took care of all of our requests quickly. The public trolley system that comes right by the hotel is a great way to get around. Very easy way to get to John’s Pass, St. Pete or Clearwater. No rental car needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and we will return to the location "

"We loved our stay at Island House hotel! They had everything we needed and more. It’s a very lowkey friendly atmosphere, with some longer term guests and others just passing through as we were. It was well stocked and had great amenities, close to the beach and fun/family friendly. Very kind staff and helpful! One thing that could be a bit bothersome is guests are permitted to smoke outside of rooms and around the pool and we did find a regular presence of smoke in the air (not in the room at all, that was very clean and smoke free!) which we didn’t love to have our kids around. "

"Small but comfy, great for our family of 4. Very clean. Has everything you need. Saw dolphins every day in the intracoastal waterway while sitting on the patio! Beach is directly across the street and there’s a tram stop right out front of you don’t want to drive. Close to everything. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area. "

"Parking was provided and easy to access. The condo provided beach towels and coolers which is always nice to have available. The kitchen provided ample dishes and glassware as well as pots and pans however the pots and pans needed to be cleaned/scrubbed prior to use. The cleaning crew may lack some training in cleanliness as the floors were dirty and we needed to wear socks to keep our feet clean. Also they should have alerted the manager that the front bathroom sink did not drain properly and the toilet would run ever few minutes obviously needing repair. Also a suggestion to have blackout curtains in the bedrooms would be a plus!"
