Enjoy our outdoor living room and landscaped garden scattered with cozy seating and a fire pit. Mountainaire Inn and Log Cabins is located on Main Street in Downtown Blowing Rock. In addition to being walking distance from shops and restaurants, the property is a short drive from outdoor activities, hiking trails, attractions, ski slopes, Boone, and Appalachian State University.

    PLEASE NOTE: Guest must check-in at Mountainaire Inn, 827 Main St in Blowing Rock. Office hours are 8:30-6:30 daily.

    River Cabin reservations must be cancelled by 3pm, 7 days prior to arrival. For any cancellations within 7 days of arrival, guest credit card will be charged a cancellation fee totaling 100% of total room+tax for the reservation

Absolutely perfect

Worth the price. Great location and nice accommodations. Could use some extra cleaning in the corners and shower but overall well kept. The yard was fabulous. A definite do over!

I was so happy to find this cabin on VRBO but did not know it is actually a property of local inn Mountain Air. Perhaps that is why it was ill equipped, stove old, sink too small to effectively wash dishes, no dishwasher. Had to unplug appliances to use others. It needs a big upgrade for the price. The best part was the porch! Carpet was dirty in bedroom. Very very dark.

The location was as expected but there was no outdoor privacy (zero back yard and front yard on the busy street). Fireplace didn't work, the jets in the tub hardly gave any pressure at all, bubbles only, the TV was cable only so you could not stream any channels and the bathroom fan didn't work. Not very romantic.
