The nearby town has great restaurants. The Retreat is a bit off the main road, but that makes the seclusion all the better. You will see sheep out the back window! Dave and Helen were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our place was very clean, beautifully furnished with a hunting flare throughout. The beds were very comfortable. The surrounding gardens were nothing short of magnificent. Dave and Helen even let our 3 grandchildren swim in their pool. We highly recommend the Jolly Poacher Retreat. The cabins themselves were extremely charming - new construction with a great kitchenette, modern bathroom, comfortable beds. On the estate, there are sheep to watch and a common area for activities. Dave and Helen were such welcoming and helpful hosts!
