It's a lovely looking historical building , the rooms are massive and spotlessly clean it has all the mod cons you need for a weekend visit or a long stay. For such a large room it did not have one speck of dust anywhere, bathroom well equipped with everything you need and towells were massive. "Our room faced directly onto the train station and could hear every single thing constantly even with the window closed. Very difficult to sleep and woken up early on the morning around 5am with the sound of the trains every hour. However that’s not the hotels fault, just avoid room 324 as this was our room. "

"Lovely place to stay but the place is looking a bit tired. Had problems with the hot water not working to start off with. Lacking the basic welcome items ie said there would be milk coffee and tea etc. No milk no coffee just tea. Instruction of how to get there very in accurate but lucky a very friendly local showed us where we had to go. But we did enjoy our stay very much"
