We celebrated Thanksgiving there. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to prepare our meal. Wanted to enjoy the fire pit but were wimps. The weather was beautiful but being from Florida it was a little chilly for us to sit out. I would recommend this home. You’ll enjoy your stay. ##### Joyce D. Catherine was amazing to work with, my stY was supposed to be in March and due to Covid , we mutually decided to delay my trip Catherine was very flexible with times and offered refunds immediately. Great neighborhood close to town and activities. The home was clean, airy, bright and uncluttered. Not your typical dark wood mtn. cabin. Well furnished and stocked with all supplies needed for a week stay. Just bring your perishable food. My children adored the lake and their rooms. A short walk down the hill to the lake and back made for some well needed exercise. Friendly and accessible owners. We would love to return again soon. ##### Denise B. What a great place to rest and relax. The owners are great, quick responses to any questions. Great communications, good directions. The home was very clean, and set up for a stress free week. The porch was the most used space, very cool mornings and evenings were great after the sun goes down, some really great sounds from surrounding nature. Would rent again! We spent our time fly fishing streams, we didn't take advantage of the lake, but sure could have. ##### Ed R. It was a beautiful, light filled home with windows across the front overlooking the lake with beautiful views. The decor is my personal favorite, kind of farmhouse chic. Super clean and very comfortable beds. The kids loved the playroom downstairs and the large front yard and fire pit. We went out on the kayaks and swam off the dock. There were antique stores everywhere and my husband played lots of golf. Even the restaurants were terrific. The owner was so nice, left us some treats. We visit Blairsville at least once a year and have previously stayed in cabin style properties, all of which have been very nice also. For us, we enjoyed the light, bright decor at the Lakehill house. There was more than enough space for two, inside and outdoor spaces included. The location was convenient to town and hiking. We appreciated (and used) the well stocked kitchen and laundry room. The location was good for evening walks in the surrounding neighborhood.
