The area is a Mecca for any outdoor enthusiasts, with bike trails, climbing, kayaking and walking routes in abundance. Only a few minutes away is Llechwedd slate caverns/Zip World; a great day out for the kids and adults alike. You’re only a short drive from Betws-y-Coed, known as the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park. Also within easy reach is Porthmadog; home to the Welsh Highland Railway and the famous Black Rock Sands. Just down the coast is Harlech - a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation World Heritage Site, with its imposing castle and simply stunning beach and dunes, a must visit whilst in the area.

Coed Y Brenin Forest Park is under 20 minutes’ drive, this was Britain’s first purpose-built mountain biking centre and it is still one of the sport’s top destinations, with various trails suitable for all abilities. You’ll certainly not be short of sights to see and things to do in this diverse area. Beach 13 miles.
