The reviews I've seen about this hotel are not true,
Place was spotless, hotel is very well maintained including outside area.
Lady who was on desk when we checked in was so lovely! She made us feel very welcome.
Ideal location in city center.
5 mins to promenade, Tower and sea front attractions.
10 mins walk to North train station.
I have no complaints what so ever, I would definitely recommend and I'll be staying here again wen I'm at Blackpool next 👌
Excellent location
Excellent front of house service
I made a booking for the same day as I had to leave my previous B&B due to poor & no service, i rang to see if i could check in early and was advised to arrive 1 hour early, but around 2.5 hours early the lovely lady on reception called me to let me know my room was ready, which i really appreciate and thought this was so kind.
My room was clean and tidy, it looked onto the main street & noise was not a problem.
I did not eat here so can not comment on the food provided.
Wonderful staff, very polite, helpful, and they have a great sense of humour.
We borrowed the Iron and Iron board from them for free which was fantastic.
Great place to stay, will save in my favourites for Blackpool.
Property was a good size and grewt location, we didn't spend much time in the room but it was nice size and very clean. Only downside was we had no spoon with the tea & coffee facilities.

Fri night stay
Great value for money. Paid more for poorer hotels in the area. I booked OakLea based on the reviews and it was exactly as reviewed. Very friendly people which was nice, room was clean, warm, comfortable would definitely stay again. Didn’t have food there as we had made plans elsewhere.
This was my 2nd time at Oak Lea.
Staff are lovely and helpful, my room was a good size, comfy bed again. The room had a Desk and chair in the room which was great.
Bathroom again fairly big and lovely shower.
No complaints from me and will happily stay again on future visits for work in Blackpool.
I was in one of the upper floors accessible via the lift

Room 27
The staff were as welcoming as always and you feel at ease.
The only two small issues where one being that the evenings entertainment went on to long at such a high volume, which meant i could everything clearly without even being in the basement. The other one was that they toilet is located in the worst possible place, it needs turning 90 degrees so that it can be used in comfort.
Everyone was very friendly nothing was too much trouble. Anything we needed was available on request from clean towels to tea and coffee. Overall a lovely hotel

The hotel room was simple - it was super small and in need of repair. For a single night it was okay but for any longer a person may get quite depressed by the smallness of it. It’s overpriced at nearly £30 for sure.
