Great location in a beautiful hotel of yesterday where famous people had stayed. Room was clean with a side view of the promenade. The hotel lobby was large where you could sit and order tea and small items. Check in and out was very smooth.

The room was clean and well maintained. It's a shame the pool is no longer in use. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bar food was good. Always a nice stay at the Imperial. Parking is expensive at £14 per night. Good position for using the tram which was £10 for 2 adults for a days travel.

Imperial has the cosiness and friendliness of small and the anonymity and grandeur of large, so it’s all you would want from a Victorian hotel in Blackpool. I’ve not been visited by any of the ghosts yet so after five years coming, that’s my only disappointment… Services are great here, all staff are really friendly in my experience, breakfast is great and there are lots of spaces to hang out in on the ground floor.

This is our 2nd stay in 6 weeks. The hotel is old clean and quirky. The bedrooms are fine with lovely clean white linen, great bathroom but it’s shower over bath ! Always lots of hot water. Slept like a log every night. The staff are so lovely and friendly and helpful in all departments. The breakfast is superb something hot/cold everything you could think of. Think we coming back in November very enjoyable

Check in was awful, two hour wait because rooms weren’t ready, system seems antiquated. Interior is tired. Breakfast and food was good and prices are reasonable. Lacking in hospitality terms, no coasters anywhere for drinks, all cash only no credit, entertainment limited, minimum toiletries ie no shampoo etc, just liquid soap, bathroom dated and poor maintenance. Plenty of hot water and clean towels, beds are comfortable. My opinion, living on past glories

Only 1 on reception caused a long delay checking in . No towels on our second day we had to go and find some before we could shower to go out, rooms are adequate but dated , breakfast is excellent . Car parking now £14 a night use to be £10 we have stayed a few times and it seams to get worse every time we go and more expensive.

Its not bad, we had a bit of a mare checking in, they were clearly short of staff that day and we ended up being held up in the bar, although they gave us drinks vouchers, so I cannot fault the staff, it wasnt on them. The room was fine, bed was good, so no complaints. Cosmetically its showing its age a bit but it was good for the money.

I am biased re this hotel as I have stayed here a number of times because of its history etc. Staff and building plus facilities were as usual and the two women reception staff were professional. Car parking was expensive but balanced out the room rate that I was offerred. cheers

The Imperial Hotel is a beautiful building with plenty of character and charm from years gone by. However, it is now in need of some upgrades and refurbishment. Our room was a good size, but it felt quite tired and dated nice sea from our room,On the positive side, the breakfast was very good, and the bar was a lovely place to relax. With a little modernisation, this hotel could truly return to its former glory.
