From the initial booking enquiry to picking up the keys, everything was seamless. The house was exactly what my friends and I were after. It's a stone's throw from the lookout and surrounding trails. The house itself felt welcoming as soon as we arrived. Plenty of space for 8 of us to relax and enjoy cooking, (the kitchen facilities are great!) dining and relaxing. Loved the log fire and great beds, only small let-down was that we arrived at 7pm on a very cold evening and the house was like an icebox. It warmed up quickly - cozy within 90 mins, but would have been a nice touch to have the house warm. Absolutely nothing else to complain about. What a great house design, great location for walking and really handy for Blackheath.
