"I freaked OUT over the general amount of filth and the amount of mold in the bathroom!! I never even put my things down. I took out my phone to take pictures of everything, then literally booked it out of there!! It’s no wonder they don’t show the bathrooms up close in the photos. I am truly astounded by the reviews saying that the place is clean. That piece I cannot fathom. The reviews are why I rented a room there! The only positive is the gentleman that checked me in. He was extremely friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately nowhere to be found just a few minutes later after I left the room and was looking for anyone to speak with. Needless to say, I left, and was forced to spend the night in my car as Expedia couldn’t get me into a different hotel until the next morning."

"Great hotel to stop at on the way to Maggie Valley overnight. Easy in and out of the parking lot with a long trailer. Very polite and accommodating staff. "

"This spot was amazing, would definitely stay again. The door keypad was a little glitchy getting in (due to low battery) but communication with the hosts was easy and efficient. Everything was very clean and well stocked and we couldn't have asked for a better location."

"We enjoyed our stay here & that included my 4 legged pup. Great fenced yard for him to safely roam. Though it’s odd that there’s no back door to access the yard. The home was clean & welcoming. We enjoyed the sauna & hot tub. So relaxing! Chairs around the fire pit were comfy. The irises blooming in the front yard were so pretty. The kitchen was well appointed: with plenty of coffee & tea & all we needed to enjoy them. Appliances worked as expected. The house is so close to downtown but we had no trouble resting well in the comfy beds & dark bedrooms that were quiet too. They had night lights in most rooms: which I really appreciated. The rain shower was nice too & only having one bathroom was no issue. Parking was easy. They thoughtfully had everything except food that we needed for our dog & the yard was free of poop when we arrived (& how we left it too). It’s a quick & easy trip to Asheville, Biltmore, or plenty of hiking trails. The neighborhood felt safe. Some foot traffic & cars/buses but not overwhelming or too noisy. What a fantastic place to stay!"
