"I loved location to center of town. Right across the street is the beach. Staff was excellent, welcoming, accomodating. Air conditioning was great. Tv did not work. "We really enjoyed our stay overall! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the property was very well maintained. The staff was also super helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The main issue we had was with the room. Unfortunately, our room did not have AC, which made it uncomfortable at times, especially at night. I think having AC available would make a big difference and would definitely improve the overall guest experience. Aside from that, we really appreciated the beautiful property, the views, and the wonderful staff. With a few improvements to the rooms, this could be an even better place to stay!"

"The home was very clean! At first the extra blankets in the bedroom smelled of mildew (impossible to avoid in that climate) but the host quickly came and washed and returned them. The house is so close to the ocean you can hear the waves all the time, and see the beach from the balcony. Yes there is some road noise but that's inescapable, and the neighbor with barking dogs doesn't seem to let them out much; they were no bother at all. We were happy we had a rental car for the 6 minute drive to everything in Puerto Viejo. The pool is tiny but good to dunk yourself in to cool off. We enjoyed visits from Blanquita (the friendly resident cat) and gave her chicken to eat."
