"Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were basic but clean and very comfortable. A simple breakfast was also included. There is a cafe on site selling soup and panini’s but it closes at 5pm so wee went into nearby Hofn for dinner both days which was only 15 mins in the car. It’s a superb location for enjoying the beach and mountains."

"The breakfast here was excellent, with tons of options. We got to see one of our two nights of northern lights during our eight nights stay here, which was absolutely incredible. The room was quite cold and we couldn't find the thermostat to turn anything up, so that was a little bit of an inconvenience. The room layout was a little bit strange as well, along with the embroidered pillows. I know it feels more country style, but they are definitely not comfortable to lay on all night. I would definitely stay here again though, I'm just being nitpicky at this point."
