Bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and roomy for 2 people. However, the sink didn't drain well, the cable box was just hanging by cords from the TV (not on any sort of shelf), and the wood under the refrigerator was really beat up. The TV and wood didn't affect our stay but it wasn't aesthetically pleasing. Also, one elevator was not working (leaving just one elevator in use). Would I stay here again? Possibly, but I wouldn't pay the same rate I did this time.

As a solo traveler my room was very accommodating and the setup was efficient and effective for leisure and work. As a female traveler the room color scheme was drab and not welcoming--it wasn't energizing. My king-size bed was a sleep magnet but the sound of the running water from the toilets were overwhelming. If you want nice and quiet the hotel is in the perfect location.

Property close to UAB hospital, Publix grocery out back door 3 min walk, local shopping about 10-15 min drive. clean room staff great parking garage is next to hotel remember to get your ticket validated each time in/out or you will pay.

Breakfast is very good, with many choices, although they only offer one type of breakfast meet each day. But it’s worth it!! Ms. Lyndia was a very kind staff member who made sure rooms were clean and fresh towels and toilet paper were available.

Beds were comfortable, and clean. Staff were friendly. There was staining on the curtains that looked like rust, wires from the ac were hanging on the floor (super big safety hazard if you have littles traveling with you like we did) our conditioner was completely empty and our shampoo & body wash was 1/2 and 1/3 full. Breakfast is only convenient if you aren’t planning on waking up/ leaving earlier than 6:30. My husband went down at 6:15 to grab us something to eat before having to go to children’s of Alabama for our daughters surgery so it was a bummer we had to go and spend money on breakfast after paying a pretty penny in hopes to eat at the hotel.

Breakfast menu had a great selection but the food that should have been hot to taste was cold....my hot water in the shower took 10 minutes to get hot and the mattress in my room was horrible. It felt like a mattress cushion instead of an actual mattress. Staff was very polite and friendly.

The staff was very nice. Wasn't crazy about the room's floor plan. The placement of the desk doesn't make sense. I know it is to divide the room but the pole at the end of the desk cuts off the view of the TV and the placement of the couch is also odd. Other than the floor plan, my stay was good.
