The Sonata Simply Suites, Birmingham, AL was clean, low keyed and quiet. Room was adequate for a short stay without frills. Soomewhat lacking in finishes I would advise the budget conscious to consider staying here.

I highly enjoyed the stay at this location. It was very affordable. I think I got a special for like $79 a night. It is close to everything you need restaurants, big box stores. Banks. Coffee shops. My room 302 was super clean and smelled fresh not like stale air. Air conditioning worked TV was huge refrigerator microwave small kitchen. Great Value.

The hotel and staff were great. Plus the rooms were spacious. With that being said Expedia are crooks. They cancel bookings without cause or letting you know. Don’t even try to get help from their customer service. They only lie to you and think they can yell at you when you question their lies. They don’t rectify anything. Trust me when I say you don’t want to use Expedia or any of their affiliate companies unless you want to risk having your room canceled without warning and being treated like you and your money don’t mean anything to them.
