The evening meal available consisted of a vegetarian or meat three course meal presented as a buffet.I thought the quality and value for money was excellent.Staff in the restaurant were very helpful and attentive as were all other staff in the hotel. I enjoyed my stay whilst attending a conference nearby.
Gardens were lovely.
Quiet relaxing hotel.
Room not big, basic but ok
Air con was noisy outside window. No room Aircon. Room was in new part.
Loads of space in the hotel itself. Different rooms. Great for weddings or conferences. All very grand, posh looking. Dated some might say in areas.
Good parking.
Staff nice. No pressures anywhere.
Would go back. Not a Coventry fan though when driving about.

Hotel is lovely, lots of original features. Room was spacious and clean, however its old and tired, could do with a revamp..
Quite a few cobwebs on the ceilings and damp stains on the walls and ceiling.
Hotel is dated, I guess that is a reflection on the price.
We paid £12 for 2 children and 2 adults to swim, however we turned up at 5pm and only allowed in the facilities until 6pm-not hotels problem, however there was no option of a discounted price. Changing facilities were of a good standard however the pool had a strange green tone to the water and overall surroundings were run down.
The hotel room-there was a light switch behind the headboard this knocked the lights on and off and made a ‘sizzling’ noise, also the standard of cleaning was not to a great standard as my child found a McDonald’s toy by the bed assuming previous guests!
Also the heat in the room overnight was unbearable, even with windows open. Aware of the heatwave over summer in England however the weather that day was 20 degrees, so not unreasonable to have a pleasant sleep in.
Unhelpful staff, no bar or food available at lunch time. Rooms very old and tired

Hotel booked last minute to attend a concert at Coventry Arena. Felt it was expensive for 1 night, but booked as previously booked property fell through. Walkable to the stadium (about 50 mins).
Hotel looks good from outside but rooms need some updating. Some of the communal areas need a good clean and decorating. Free parking (need to register details) and a charge for the swimming pool.
Room was large and clean. Door not soundproof. Nice grounds

Staff are fabulous. It’s a very old building and could do with some upgrades but the dog friendly atmosphere is unbeatable. Very impressed with the way they handled things during the Crufts week. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a genuinely dog friendly hotel. Beds are a little small but rooms and bathrooms are clean

Needs desperately tlc the grounds are a disgrace
Meant to be dogs friendly but you cant take them in the bar area
Rooms are clean and tidy but needs maintenance
Receptionists are very attentive
All staff give excellent customers service but the hotel needs more staff
Fire escape was partially blocked
Absolutely stunning place, that actually used to be owned by my family member, of whom I'm the last surviving one here, and I had no idea! I knew he was a well off local businessman, who I met lots as a little one in but I lost both of my parents so didn't get to know this, plus a previous generation fallout meant Set in such a beautiful setting, and really quiet.
We were here over the hot bank holiday and it was very busy, but still really quiet which we were shocked about. Room was clean and bathroom was nice, only issue is our 'double' bed was actually two twins pushed together, of different heights, so my partner and I were rather uncomfortable,
A very nice looking hotel, garden area was well maintained, not impressed by quality of the food for the evening meal , think we arrived in the restaurant after a coach party had eaten , virtually nothing left . The poached fish ?? Was fish in breadcrumbs & deep fried i would guess , managed to get a spoonful of runner beans , and some potatoes (fried again ) but not chips . Managed last piece of sponge for dessert .
Went out to eat on second night as coach party still at hotel . Checked out after 2 day , lady behind desk didn’t even look up from her screen. Didn’t say thank you for staying or hope you enjoyed your stay etc just took our door card . Would I go back ??? It was cheap !.
Great facilities with a jacuzzi bath in the room!
Very helpful staff at reception and breakfast helped me as I'm disabled. Spotless room too.
Great value for money!
