However, they make up with excellent, friendly and authentic service. Staffs (Hotna, Wiwik, Gin etc) are very warm and welcoming and you could tell that they are very genuine. My family was initially not quite happy with the condition of the rooms but the Management was quick to change for us on the next day. Very proactive and attentive. Otherwise, do not expect too much as this is a very resort style decoration. Cassia, which is next door and was opened in 2017, seems more trendy. In terms of dining options, this is quite okay as visitors can always go the neighbouring Banyan Tree Resort or Cassia in addition to the two restaurants/cafe located within the property. The private beach is very well maintained. Scenery is superb, so this is a perfect venue for a short getaway with laid back atmosphere. We tried the Angsana Spa and were very happy and impressed. Everything was so on point and the skills of the spa therapists (Tati and Rose) are one of the best I have come across. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay for my family.
