"We got there and they could not find our reservations after some time they found it . When we booked we booked a first floor room well they told us they did not have any renovated rooms on the first floor and wanted to change our room . Why offer it if you do not have it . then you have to meet someone else so they can try to sell you a time share . After checking and a first floor room we went into the room and it was very musty you could even smell it in the curtains . There was mildew on the window sills the microwave had a big crack in it . The room and furniture is very dated . I do not know if I would stay here again"

"This property was lovely and just what our large family needed! With 5 bedrooms, we were able to spread out and not be on top of each other but still enjoy family time in the large common areas. Pros:-super clean! -plenty of indoor and outdoor space-our kids loved collecting and eating fresh eggs from the chickens -kitchen was well equipped and easy to navigate-each of the huge walk-in closets was a different activity for young children. One was a kitchen, one a store, one a dress up closet-there was a playground and a treehouse which our kids loved-great location—convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Busch Gardens and more-ample linens and towels were provided Cons:-4 of the 8 beds used by our family were uncomfortable. 1 mattress very hard, 1 with a large dip in the middle, one very lumpy, and 1 just generally uncomfortable -the only TV was in the open concept area downstairs. It would be nice to have a TV somewhere else so the kids could watch a cartoon without everyone having to hear it. -only 1 key was provided which was inconvenient with 6 adults trying to come and go at different times-the beautiful plush grass pictured in the listing was roped off and not to be walked on which was a little disappointing Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we returned to Williamsburg."

"Our stay was okay but there was construction and the pool and hot tub near our room was closed for the season. Wasn’t what we expected. The rooms were clean and the front desk staff were friendly, but did not explain how to get to our location."

"The property is better than the pictures can capture. It is an idyllic setting. Serene and nature filled. The well-maintained entrance is approximately 2/10th of a mile drive thru the woods. Ample outside parking. The house has a split plan, practical layout. There are 2 downstairs bedrooms each with bathroom; two upstairs bedrooms share a central bathroom. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The front and back decks are exceptionally wide with a 6-person table and three separate sitting areas. The host was very accommodating, he contacted us prior to the visit and responded quickly to texts day 1 of the stay. Our vacation was a family reunion, and the house/property were perfect. The kitchen has a pantry and ample storage, the washer/dryer stack units are new and efficient. We are very satisfied renters."

"A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! "

"The Tiny Red Barn is a perfect escape! The hosts have thought of everything detail, and the space is immaculate and so charming. The hosts are incredibly responsive and made our stay incredibly easy. We would definitely visit again!"
