"We got there and they could not find our reservations after some time they found it . When we booked we booked a first floor room well they told us they did not have any renovated rooms on the first floor and wanted to change our room . Why offer it if you do not have it . then you have to meet someone else so they can try to sell you a time share . After checking and a first floor room we went into the room and it was very musty you could even smell it in the curtains . There was mildew on the window sills the microwave had a big crack in it . The room and furniture is very dated . I do not know if I would stay here again"

"Beautiful grounds, stunning views, filthy hotel room. Dirty walls, greasy remote, hand prints on the wall. We typically love Hilton vacation club properties, but this wasn’t it. Lovely historic building as soon as you drive in, unfortunately we chose not to stay there for the weekend. "

"Incredibly beautiful and peaceful retreat! The property is gorgeous - surrounded by greenery - sitting on the porch felt very serene. The house itself was well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The location was also great - it was close to attractions in Williamsburg and Jamestown. Highly recommend the Virginia Capital Trail nearby (we rented bikes at Spoke & Art Provisions Co. only 5 min away, and it was one of the highlights of our trip)! Would definitely stay at this lovely home again."
