"Our stay at Mountain Grove Lodge for a small women’s retreat was amazing. The views are outstanding and there was plenty room for all. The kitchen was well stocked, connecting to WiFi was easy and the check-in process was seamless. Our host Melissa wa extremely responsive and able to answer any questions that we had. Love this home and would definitely return n the future! "

"Big Canoe in itself an overall top experience. Safe, peaceful and secure. Driving to "The Nest" scenic and nature laced. When we arrived to the location the surrounding area and view awaiting beat expectations. The cabin made for two was clean, had all that one needed, and the floor to glass windows allowed the view to be experienced from kitchen to bedroom. Though all above 5 star, the real star of this property was the outdoor decks. There is an upper and lower deck and both provided a view of the lake below in the valley with too many trees that filled the hills. The upper deck perfect to have dinner and an adult beverage and lower deck having a hot tub a great way to end the day or rather maybe inspire the night. Have stayed in many of these type of rentals and have enjoyed most but The Nest is one of the best, made for two and the only question is: Why not you? BTW: apologize for the appearance that Im writing an add but when I'm delivered more than expected I get carried away a bit. See photos and you will understand better my review. Enjoy"

"Great stay, wonderful owners and very relaxing. Just what we needed for my wife’s 16th 29th Birthday….. Kids loved the pool, adults loved the peace and quiet. We’ve stayed at a lot of places at Bug Canoe and this is one of our favorites! We will definitely stay here again! "

"This property was everything we needed and wanted. It is nestled among the trees with great views and is close to everything we wanted to access: hiking and the Beach Club. It was spotlessly clean and cozy and is well equipped for cooking a nice meal. We didn't eat out at all during our 3 night stay and had everything we needed to prepare full meals. The bed is comfy, the shower has nice, hot water and the living room is inviting. We watched the sunrise from the lovely bedroom windows and then moved to the porch for coffee and breakfast. You can tell the owners genuinely care about their place and desire for guests to have a good experience! Communication was easy, and directions were very helpful. We will stay here again! "

"Absolutely one of the best Cabins/Houses we have stayed at in all the years of traveling! This place was very clean and welcoming! It was extremely quiet and safe! The trail access from the back was perfect for a daily hike. We did several of the trails and enjoyed the peacefulness of nature!! The restraunts around the area were great also and the Lowes food store had plenty of local options! We took a trip over to Helen, Ga and it was a short day trip which was a neat jaunt out of the community!! Would highly recommend this place and we hope to be coming back during the warmer months to see all the different activities offered then as well!!! Veronica was an absolute pleasure to work with and had some awesome suggestions. She never seemed bothered by any of our questions and always responded promptly!! You will not be disappointed in staying here!! "
