It was more than enough room for 8 people. The kids loved the loft! The location was great. We came in late winter/early spring and it was perfect hiking weather with the kids. The kitchen was more than large enough to make pizzas for dinner and bacon and pancakes for breakfast. I highly recommend taking their suggestion of bringing your own streaming device if you want to do movie night; they make set up very easy. The property was very clean and well kept. Big canoe is a large area with plenty of things to do as well as attractions near by right outside of big canoe. The pool and swim beach had friendly, helpful staff. There were plenty of chairs and even with a lot of guests never felt crowded. The villas are dated and dark on the inside but the bed was beyond comfortable and updated bathroom was nice. Had everything you needed. Check in was a breeze and the property is beautiful. However, spiders ran rampant, our master sheets were never cleaned and the cost of amenities were never disclosed. Even if we were renting thru RCI or Interval a cost for swimming or any other extra curricular is still mandatory. Our parking place was on the side of a hill, we choose to park on a flat place down from the villa but that meant trying to walk up the blacktop hill, around a tree on broken blacktop then up a flight of steps which is difficult for us at 70\. No shampoo or body wash provided. Had to take sheets off beds before leaving, and leave keys in unlocked key drop box, Furniture from 70's, not comfortable at all.
