The location is excellent - right near Kloof st. The hotel felt very safe. My room was quite large and had nice amenities. However, the property felt more like an upscale hostel than a boutique hotel. There was constantly noise coming from downstairs (music, party sounds, etc). If that wasn't enough, the fumes of fried food from the restaurant below permeated my room. Between the oily smell and the noise, I did not sleep particularly well.
