A security deposit of 100 EUR must be paid in cash upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded via bank transfer within 4 weeks after the inventory has been checked. No debit or credit card payments accepted on-site.

Enjoy a Baltic Sea holiday with family and friends, free from the stress and hustle of the big city, in a lovingly renovated country house in the small village of Büttelkow, just 8 km from the Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn and Rerik. A perfect starting point for day trips to the Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Rostock—including the seaside resort of Warnemünde—or the cathedral town of Bad Doberan. 



The hosts themselves turned their backs on city life, realised their dream, breathed new life into the country house, and created their home in the heart of nature. Since 2019, guests have also been able to enjoy the tranquility near the beach in the Baltic Sea region in the holiday residence’s three holiday apartments. 

In the country house’s spacious garden—featuring old fruit trees, a separate seating area with a grill and fire pit, and a half-timbered playhouse for children—there’s plenty of room for relaxation and play. A parking space with a charging station for electric cars (11 kW) is located directly across from the country house.


The country house accommodates four living units, including the host family’s apartment. 
The end-of-row townhouse “Herzenslust,” featuring a fireplace and a washing machine (fee applies for use), offers 108 m² of living space on two levels, accommodating 6 people with 3 bedrooms.
The 3-room end-of-row holiday home “Blütenzauber,” equipped with a washing machine (fee applies for use), welcomes guests with 68 m² of living space, accommodating 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers.
Another holiday apartment for 4 people on the upper floor will be completed in the summer of 2025. An additional bedroom can be booked in conjunction with the new holiday apartment.

All holiday apartments are equipped with fully stocked kitchens and 1–2 shower rooms. The ground-floor holiday apartments feature their own south-facing terrace, while the upstairs apartment offers access to the spacious garden adjacent to the country house. The kitchens are equipped with dishwashers and built-in reverse osmosis water filtration systems, allowing guests to enjoy fine mineralized drinking water. The home’s water system includes a water softener and is set to a water hardness of 7°dH.
Non-smoking home, allergy-friendly, and pet-free.



In addition to the hosts, the farm is home to their dog, cat, and chickens.
