"Simple and cheap hotel stay for one night while visiting the Christmas markets in Bielefeld. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and had everything I needed. Location is a short walk from the train station and very close to shops and restaurants. Due to its central location, it is a little noisy if overlooking the street, but earplugs help with that."

"We stayed at the Brenner for a week recently , using it as a base to visit our son and his partner . The location is perfect , not too far from the autobahn, City Centre and the tram stop at Sieker Mitte being a couple of hundred metres away. "Old hotel in the city center but with no facilities (kettle, sleepers). The stuff is not speaking English. Every time you are leaving the hotel you are asked to leave the room key at the reception for “security reasons” but the real reason is that they don’t have cards for rooms, they still use the classic keys and they are afraid of loosing it.
